History of the Establishment of Kahf
Bismillahirahmanirahim.
Established on 2022, Kahf Islamic Boarding School (KIBS) stemmed from a deep concern for the values of education that can shape the young generations of Indonesia into individuals who are knowledgeable, well-mannered, and have a strong foundation of faith in accordance with the understanding of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah.
Amidst the escalating complex global challenges, education that only focuses on academic aspects without being adapted with spiritual and moral development often fails to build strong and independent characters. Thus, KIBS is present as an educational solution that integrates the excellence of both national (Diknas) and international (Cambridge) curricula, alongside Diniyyah (religious) education based on the understanding of Salafus Shalih.
KIBS was founded with the primary goal of educating Indonesian children to be not merely intellectually intelligent but to possess a strong religious understanding, noble character, and readiness to face global challenges as well without losing their identity as devout Muslims.
With a boarding school system, KIBS instills values of discipline, independence, and ukhuwah Islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) in the students' daily lives. We believe that through an integrated education of religious and general knowledge, we can create a generation that is pious, intelligent, and broad-minded will emerge, ready to contribute to the ummah and the nation.
